LoL Evade Scripts: How Skill-Shot Dodging Works

How an evade script decides where to walk, why dodging everything is the fastest way to get reported, and the settings that matter: danger levels, reaction delay and what to leave switched off.

Evade is the module people notice. Prediction makes your abilities land and nobody thinks twice; evade makes the enemy's abilities miss, and the enemy remembers. It is the most useful part of a League of Legends script and the part that needs the most restraint.

How evade decides where to go

When an enemy casts a skill-shot, the game already knows its origin, direction, width, speed and range. An evade script reads those values and draws the area the ability will cover. Then it answers one question: from where my champion stands, which point outside that area can I reach before the ability arrives?

To answer it, the script weighs:

  • Your movement speed, and the time left before impact.
  • Walls and terrain, since a dodge into a wall is not a dodge.
  • Other abilities in the air, so that avoiding one does not walk you into another.
  • Whether a dash or a flash would make it when walking cannot.

Danger levels

Not every ability deserves a dodge. A good evade ranks abilities by how much they matter: a hook, a root or an ultimate is worth interrupting whatever you were doing, while a small poke is often not worth giving up a last hit. Most scripts let you set the level at which evade takes over, and that setting is where the judgement is.

  • In lane, dodge only what is dangerous. Stepping away from every poke costs you farm.
  • In teamfights, raise it: crowd control decides fights.
  • Keep flash and other summoner spells for the highest level only, or switch them off for evade entirely.

Why dodging everything gets you reported

Nobody dodges a fast skill-shot fired from fog of war at short range. If your champion does, every time, the enemy has their answer. Detection by the anti-cheat is one risk; ten players who can report you are another, and they are watching the whole match.

These settings make evade look like a good player instead of a script:

  • Reaction delay: a short, varying pause before the dodge begins. People need time to see an ability. Use it.
  • Fog of war: do not dodge abilities cast from where you have no vision, or do so only sometimes.
  • Dodge only when it is possible by walking. A champion that flashes every hook is announcing itself.
  • Let some abilities hit. It is cheaper than an account.

Evade and the rest of the script

Evade has to share your champion with the orbwalker. When an ability is coming, evade takes control of movement; when the danger has passed, the orbwalker takes it back. In a well-built script you do not feel the handover. If your champion stutters between the two, lower how much evade is allowed to interrupt.

Our orbwalker guide covers the other half of that pair.

Where to find it

Covert LoL Script includes EvadePlus, PV LoL Script includes evade alongside its map hack, and Hanbot LoL Script has its own evade. The product pages show the modules in video. A 1 day key is enough to try the settings above on your own champions.

Summary

An evade script reads the geometry of an incoming ability and walks you out of it. Its strength is also its risk: used at full power it is obvious to everyone in the game. Dodge what matters, add a reaction delay, ignore what you could not have seen, and accept being hit now and then.
